How is my data stored? Everything is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData. If you're signed into iCloud, your history syncs across your Apple devices via your own private iCloud database. Steady never sees your data.
Can I share data with someone using a different Apple ID? Not directly today — CloudKit private databases are per-Apple-ID by design. Use Export CSV from the profile's ⋯ menu, share the file, then Import CSV on the other device.
Can I switch between kg and lb? Not yet — the current release is metric-only. Imperial support is planned for a future update.
How do I edit or delete an entry? Tap the entry in the History tab to edit it. Delete confirms with a prompt before removing.
How do I set up a reminder? Open a profile → tap the ⋯ menu → Set reminder → pick a weekday and time.
How do I turn off a reminder? Same menu → Edit reminder → toggle the switch off → Save.
Does Steady work offline? Yes. All features work without a network connection. CloudKit sync happens whenever you're online.
